Requirements:
• Process control 4-20mA 0-10V
• Control panel Fault Finding, pump starter, thermistors, magnetic, earth leakage. Relays, safety relays, Pilz relays, contactor rating AC DC.
• Level sensors calibration.
• Knowledge of electric actuators (settings, torque, overload etc.)
• Wier tilt gates,
• Pumps types, vertical drive, submersible etc.
• Pump, impellor, bearing, trust bearings, seals, dry and wet types.
• VSD’s, Starting currents, Torque setting, Ramps.
• Cable Testing (iR, R1+R, Zs etc.)
• Making off and glanding, SWA’s. PWA.
•Cable type SWA, LSF, PVC, XLPE, H07RNF and application.
• Earthing, functional earth.
• Gland Ratings CW, EW etc.
Desirable:
• Hydraulic circuit, systems. Pump, cylinders, valve (solenoids).
• Signal isolators ICA interface
• Experience of Rotork actuators
• PLC programming
• VSD drive settings
• Generators G59 deapsea etc.
• Pump, impellor material selection.
Job Brief:
• Apply engineering knowledge and experience to technical problems to support the delivery of services to clients.
• Required to work on your own initiative under the direction of the department manager to deliver services to our clients in
accordance with timescale, quality and budgetary requirements.
• Ensure that the projects allocated to you (or those that you are part of the project team) are managed to deliver their time, cost
and quality objectives.
• Undertake regular project reviews to monitor overall project performance and provide robust forecasts on costs vs budget
where required.
• Ensure all information, relevant to the projects that you manage and support, is shared within the business in a timely manner.
• Provide project engineering expertise to projects, ensure that all engineering aspects are in accordance with applicable
standards and best practice.
• Carry out accurate and comprehensive vehicle surveys to allow concept and detailed design to be developed and/or a
programme of works/modification instructions to be prepared.
• Take part in production planning meetings and provide engineering input and support through considered and professional
decisions.
• Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.
