A leading manufacturer in Cwmbran require an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. They design and develop safety critical systems which help protect people and make a real difference in people’s lives.
The facility in Cwmbran is an R&D centre of excellence, where you will be part of a team developing new complex products. On offer is a highly competitive salary, hybrid working, and excellent benefits including high-rate pension, life assurance, bonus and more.
You will be researching and determining feasibility of products, designing and developing the next generation of complex, electro-mechanical products, alongside the improvement of existing products, as well as performing tests and experiments to determine engineering/product requirements/feasibility.
Experience/qualifications:
Educated to degree level in relevant discipline (i.e. Mechanical Engineering)
Experienced in a similar Mechanical Design/R&D Engineering role
Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
SolidWorks proficiency
Project Management skills
