A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Barton-under-Needwood on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established site carrying out a varied mix of planned and reactive maintenance.

The Role As the Mechanical Engineer, you'll:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and mechanical breakdowns.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
Perform mechanical inspections and ensure equipment remains operational.
Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high service standards.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures. You To be successful in the role of Mechanical Engineer, you'll bring:

Previous experience within mechanical maintenance, building services, or industrial engineering.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

£25 per hour (Umbrella).
Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm.
