Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Maintenance

???? Porton Down, Salisbury
???? Full Time | Monday – Friday | 8 Hours Per Day
???? Contract Until December 2026

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a long-term project based in Porton Down near Salisbury.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, carrying out building services maintenance across the site.

Key Duties:

General building services maintenance
Plumbing maintenance and repairs
Toilet and tap repairs
Reactive maintenance including unblocking toilets when required
AHU (Air Handling Unit) maintenance
Pipework repairs
Steam system experience desirableRequirements:

Previous experience within mechanical/building services maintenance
Strong plumbing and reactive maintenance background
AHU and steam experience highly desirable
DBS clearance preferred due to site security requirements
