Mechanical Engineer
£50,000–£60,000
If you’re a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys seeing a product develop from initial design and engineering analysis through verification, testing and delivery, this is an opportunity to join an innovative business in an exciting period of growth.
Our client is developing advanced engineering products including structural components, pressure vessels and liquid propellant tanks, working with complex material challenges and specialist materials such as composites, titanium and aluminium alloys.
You’ll work closely with project managers, production, quality, customers and suppliers, supporting engineering activities throughout development projects. This is a genuinely hands-on position where you’ll contribute to design and analysis, manage engineering work packages, support technical reviews and help take products successfully through verification and testing.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with at least five years’ relevant industrial experience and a background in delivering engineering design and development projects. Experience with 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks, is needed, while exposure to advanced manufacturing and materials such as composites, titanium or aluminium alloys would be a real advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working with technically challenging components where material selection, design, manufacture and performance all matter.
