As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to join our delivery team and take ownership of projects on site, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest possible standards.

The Role

As M&E Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of mechanical and electrical installation projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.

You will coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and programme activities whilst maintaining excellent standards of health and safety, quality and client communication.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day running of M&E projects on site

*

Coordinating mechanical and electrical subcontractors and direct labour teams

*

Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project programmes

*

Managing site health and safety requirements and maintaining site documentation

*

Conducting inductions, toolbox talks and site briefings

*

Liaising with clients, consultants, principal contractors and project teams

*

Monitoring progress and reporting updates to senior management

*

Managing material deliveries and site logistics

*

Carrying out quality inspections and snagging activities

*

Supporting commissioning, testing and project handover activities

*

Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality standards and budget expectations

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an organised and proactive Site Manager who enjoys leading teams and delivering successful projects.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience managing M&E projects within commercial or industrial environments

*

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors

*

The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and programmes

*

A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making

*

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams on site

*

SMSTS qualification

*

Valid CSCS card

*

First Aid qualification (preferred)

*

Full UK driving licence
