Description:

You'll be leading a team undertaking advanced modelling and analysis to produce precision designs, concepts on CAD and creating 3D engineering drawings, complete with accurate GD&T specifications suitable for aircraft

Your component and sub-assemblies are used in a highly complex mechanism to save lives so it's important they are right first time, using the best of materials and made to extremely tight tolerances

You'll need at least BSc engineering or physics degree level, preferably Chartered combined with substantial commercial mechanical design experience, ideally using ANSYS, Siemens NX or other 3D CAD system and Teamcenter

An advanced knowledge of modelling stress and fracture analysis within a safety critical or aerospace engineering environment is important

Knowledge of precision CNC machining and modern manufacturing methods will be highly beneficial
