Company Overview
We are working with an innovative manufacturer of critical safety products for multiple applications in their search for a new Mechanical Design Engineer on a FTC.
Job Description
* Support small to medium sized product modification projects from concept through to design and production release.
* Identify and implement product design solutions to solve current product issues in manufacturing, material supply and at the customer.
* Assist with cost reduction projects that require R&D input.
* Provide R&D support including prototype development on customer specific tenders.
Skills & Experience
* HND or Degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or similar.
* Experience of Creo design software or similar.
* Experience in designing pneumatic fixtures & fittings.
* Experience in designing stamped, turned and cast metal parts or plastic injection molded parts
