Key Duties Mechanical design engineer

* Design and develop equipment and tooling for new products and manufacturing processes.

* Manage the development and improvement of existing tooling and manufacturing equipment.

* Review overall manufacturing processes to reduce cost, optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

* Produce drawings and technical data in support of product development

About you / Your background: mechanical design engineer

* A mechanical engineer, mechanical project engineer, design engineer or tooling design engineer

* You will be seeking mechanical design engineer jobs in the Southwell, Newark, Calverton, Nottingham, Notts, Nottinghamshire region.

* HNC (minimum) in mechanical engineering or mechanical design.

* Experience of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

* Solidworks 3D experience desirable

* AutoCAD 2D experience desirable
