Mechanical Design Engineer

White Label are proud to be working with leading engineering business based in the Gainsborough area in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer due to increase of orders and team growth.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

* Developing concept ideas and taking them through to full design and production.

* Creating manufacturing and assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor (or similar CAD software).

* Producing technical documentation, including technical files, parts lists, and spares lists.

* Assisting the sales team by creating detailed customer layout drawings.

* Designing solutions that meet the requirements of various industry standards.

The Person:

* A minimum HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

* At least 4 years of design experience, ideally in:

* Special-purpose machinery

* Conveyors or mechanical/material handling equipment

* Automated machinery or heavy engineering

* Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar design software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidEdge).

* Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary & Benefits:

* Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE).

* Working Hours (Flexible)

* Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

* Friday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (early finish).
