Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop high-performance subsea electrical and optical connector solutions for harsh offshore environments. You will work on innovative products used in critical subsea applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop subsea connectors, pressure housings and sealing systems using CAD tools.
Perform engineering analysis including mechanical, thermal and pressure calculations/FEA.
Support prototype development, testing, qualification and product validation activities.
Produce technical documentation including drawings, specifications, BOMs and test reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (API, ISO, IEC, IEEE).
Work closely with manufacturing, quality and project teams to support product delivery and continuous improvement.Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years' experience in subsea, offshore or high-reliability mechanical engineering environments.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software and FEA tools.
Understanding of pressure-rated designs, sealing technologies and material selection for harsh environments.
