Fluxia is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our dynamic team in Manchester. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play a crucial role in designing cutting-edge mechanical solutions across a range of industries.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Utilise SolidWorks to design and develop innovative mechanical solutions, from concept through to production
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings to communicate design intent effectively
Conduct thorough analysis and simulation using SolidWorks tools to validate designs and ensure performance and reliability
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards
Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing results, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
Document design decisions, specifications, and test results in accordance with company standards
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and SolidWorks softwareExperiences required
Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on using SolidWorks for design and modelling
Proficiency in creating detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design best practices
Experience with analysis and simulation tools within SolidWorks
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experiencePackage
