Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
Location: Congleton
Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established machinery manufacturer, seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team based in Congleton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to become involved in the design and development of bespoke equipment.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
Designing bespoke equipment with the use of Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks
Producing 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings
Developing new concepts and practical engineering solutions for bespoke customer applications.
Carrying out hands-on testing of equipment, and creating technical manuals
Supporting projects throughout the design lifecycle, from initial concept and development through to manufacture and assembly.
Producing and maintaining Bills of Materials.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
Around 2+ years' experience within mechanical design would be highly advantageous, although graduate and less experienced candidates will also be considered.
Experience using Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
Degree, HNC, HND or similar qualification within Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
Based within a commutable distance of Congleton.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Full-time, permanent position.
Monday to Friday working week.
