Salary: Circa £40K - £50K + Benefits
Mechanical Design Engineer required by an established engineering company developing a range of innovative products and equipment for specialist safety-critical applications!
This is an exciting, varied role involving the complete product development process, combining creative mechanical design with hands-on engineering, prototyping and manufacturing
Essential:
* Mechanical design engineering experience
* Strong 3D CAD skills, ideally SolidWorks or Inventor
* Knowledge of GD&T, design verification or product testing
* Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings
* Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
* Practical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
