Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a global manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering Department based in Leeds.
Hybrid role with 3 days on-site and 2 days WFH (after 3 months probation to ensure you get the support upon joining and reviewed yearly.
Salary around £40,000

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can work effectively with people across a wide range of disciplines and levels and is able to effectively communicate technical information with a non-technical audience.
Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer include:
Preparation and checking of technical documents and reports
Provide technical support to key internal and external stakeholders as required Engage in structured problem-solving activities to identify and implement solutions to address root causes
Develop solutions and provide cost estimates in collaboration with all business functions
Present analysis of results and project solutions to key stakeholders
Work with relevant colleagues to develop functional and non-functional test specifications
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Engineers with the following skills & experience:
Degree in a Mechanical related Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Previous industry-based design experience.
Proven experience in analysing, designing, testing, debugging, and enhancing products
Experience in task management, defect management, requirements capture, verification and validation tools.
Experience of using Solid Works or Solid Edge CAD packages
Use of the Microsoft toolset - for technical documentation.
