The Mechanical Design Engineer job role itself where you will be involved in all aspects of the design process and work with our in-house tools to create a bespoke storage solution for our customers. Working closely with the sales department to understand the customer’s brief and their ultimate aims for their new structure. More specifically:
Evaluate technical solutions to meet customer requirements
Produce high-quality drawings and layouts using CAD packages
Produce accurate bill of materials for system entry
Increasing sales through prompt design costings
Provide technical assistance to all internal and external stakeholders
Full training will be provided, and further career opportunities are available for the right candidate.
Hybrid working from home/office and potentially 100% remote working is open for discussion.
You will have
To be successful as Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
Excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated
Drawing software (AutoCAD packages).
Competent IT user including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Minimum GCSE A-C or 9-4 in English, Science and Maths.
HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
