Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop bespoke machinery solutions.
* Utilise your expertise in 2D & 3D CAD Software to create detailed designs, technical drawings and models.
* Provide technical support and guidance throughout the manufacturing and assembly phases.
* Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of the machinery.
* Ensure design precision and compliance with GD&T standards.
* Perform detailed calculations and FEA to validate design performance.
* Engage in R&D initiatives, contributing to new product development and improvements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing of special purpose machinery or a related engineering sector.
* Proficiency in in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX) to create complex designs and assemblies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
