Mechanical Construction Manager:
Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Victoria - London, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Healthcare Construction as a Mechanical Construction Manager.
This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, supporting the delivery of managing construction packages and deliver in a live environment, so experience working on a similar project such as a 'health care' project would be beneficial.
Your day to day will include:
Support the Project Manager to manage and supervise on site personnel on a busy construction site.
Leads by example - sets, monitors, and enforces the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work.
Taking responsibility for health and safety on site.
Ensure that employees have the relevant training and expertise to carry out their work safely and professionally.
Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working.
Maintain discipline on site, report any incidents and take action as appropriate.
Manage and train apprentices in accordance with relevant training.
Use the purchasing system to acquire materials as required in the most cost-effective manner.
Assist in ensuring systems are handed over to the client.
What we are looking for:
Mechanical Trade qualification.
Ability to manage subcontractors, comfortable dealing with multidisciplinary teams.
Technical understanding of mechanical systems.
Proactive people management.
