Description:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a MECHANICAL HVAC/BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER to support ongoing projects based at Devonshire Dockyard in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Experience Required:
Experience in the use of CIBSE guides.
Experience in the production of design deliverables e.g. Plant sizing calculations (heating/cooling/fan sizing) and commissioning of a diverse range of mechanical building systems.
Familiarity with engineering software packages such as CAD, Hevacomp, BIM and simulation packages e.g. IES, Revit, CFD Analysis.
Experience in producing tender specifications for mechanical building services.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in a Mechanical/Building Services Engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer (CIBSE/IMechE) or working towards Chartership.

Desired:
Ability to work under own supervision as role will allow some remote working under a hybrid arrangement.
Good communication and organisation skills will be required alongside strong stakeholder management skills
