Mechanical Assembly Technician | Beccles | £34,000 | Permanent
A specialist machinery builder is recruiting a mechanical assembler. You'll build bespoke automation systems for precision sectors. Every machine is different, so you're working from drawings and schematics, not repeating a standard build.
The work:
Assemble mechanical components, frames and sub-assemblies to specification. Fit pneumatics and linear motion systems to tolerance. Run pre-commissioning checks and function tests. Fix issues as they arise. Travel to customer sites for installations as and when required, occasionally overseas.
What you need:
Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or assembler, ideally on automation or special purpose machinery. Comfortable with hand tools, measuring equipment and reading drawings. Safety-focused and able to work independently and as part of a team.
What they offer:
£34,000 per year, permanent role based in Beccles.
