Shift Patterns / Hours:

Earlies:  Monday to Friday – 6:00am – 2:00pm
Lates: Monday to Wednesday 2pm – midnight, 2pm – 11:30 (Thursday) Fridays OFF.

Ford & Stanley Talentwise are on the lookout for passionate and driven Mechanical Assemblers to drive forward the assembly and overhaul of rolling stock vehicles. Opportunity to join a worldwide well-renowned business.

What’s In It for You?

You’ll be assembling and overhauling mechanical components to trains, to keep rolling stock moving.
Completing mechanical repair and overhaul of various components; including brake systems, bogie components.
To be able to strip a wide range of products within the braking system to the required
Follows specifications and other appropriate instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble components on a train using a variety of tools and equipment.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings

You will have a background in heavy engineering and an Mechanical skillset.

Essentials:

Ability to read and work to Mechanical Drawings
High attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks well
Able to use a variety of machines and hand tools
Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Knowledge and experience in promoting safe working practices in a safety-critical workplace
Able to maintain accurate records Desirables
NVQ Level 2 or relevant professional experience
