T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly Company that has expanded over the years. Previous Mechanical Assembly experience isn’t required as the Company can offer full training; however the successful candidate must have some assembly experience.

Mechanical Assembler Job Details & Benefits;

* Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm

* £12.71 per hour

* 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Mechanical Assembler Main Duties;

* Mechanical assembly of enclosures and assemblies

* Using hand tools including screwdrivers, torque screwdrivers, and torque wrenches

* Applying Loctite and other assembly materials correctly

* Following assembly instructions and build documentation

* Ensuring products are assembled carefully without scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage

* Carrying out visual checks throughout assembly

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area

* Supporting continuous improvement within the department

* Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements

Mechanical Assembler Person Specification;

* Must have previous assembly experience

* Basic experience using hand tools

* Good attention to detail

* Careful and methodical approach to work

* Ability to follow instructions accurately

* Good manual dexterity and a steady hand

* Reliable and punctual

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
