Job Title: Chinook Aircraft Engineer
Location: RAF Odiham, Hampshire, Hook
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
Conducting maintenance/repair, Chinook aircraft
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues
Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
Documenting maintenance activities and keeping accurate records
Required Qualifications:
Recognised engineering qualification in Aerospace or related field
Experience working on Chinook helicopters
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Experience:
Prior experience with Chinook helicopters is highly desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
Thorough understanding of aircraft systems and components
Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in aircraft maintenance
Experience with military aircraft maintenance
