Description:

Proactive Personnel are currently working in partnership with a local authority based in Nottingham to recruit for a number of vehicle mechanics to join their team on a temp - perm or straight permanent basis.

This a fantastic opportunity to join a business with incredible job security, benefits & work life balance. Working a two shift pattern of 07:00 - 15:00 & 09:00 - 17:00 with 30 minute early finish on a Friday.

You will be working on an internal fleet of around 700 vehicles with varied sizing, anything from small cars to long wheel base vans & external customer vehicles too.

With the fleet transitioning into primarily electric vehicles, training will be provided and suitable candidates put through their IMI Electric Vehicle qualification.

A minimum of an IMI or NVQ LVL3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair principles or equivalent is essential

Starting salary of £27,800 rising to £28,296 after the first year
