Full Time Mechanic
Salary: £25k-33k+ (Experience dependent)
Type: Permanent role
Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5pm (+ 8x track weekends a year)
Benefits: Pension Scheme, 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Sick pay

Location: Shortgate Industrial Park, Lewis. East Sussex.
Commute: License & own car is required

Skills and experience required:
* Repairs, maintains, inspects, and installs machinery and parts
* Conducts thorough inspections and evaluations of problematic machinery or parts to identify issues
* Provides upfront estimates for repairs and maintenance
* Budgets for current and projected repair projects and calculates costs for parts and labour
* Manage workload & workshop schedule efficiently.
* Follow instructions & service schedules precisely.
* Maintain high standards & attention to detail.
* Good diagnosis & problem-solving skills.
* Be willing to travel to races throughout the UK
* Computer literate.
* Be able to work to tight deadlines and in high pressure situations
* Assist with setup / set down of all equipment
* Performs regular inspections and maintenance on working machinery to ensure proper upkeep
* Experience in engine building and engineering would be an advantage Attributes we are looking for:

HGV & Trailer License an advantage.
