You will be working in a production environment within a meat processing plant in one of Europe's leading food companies; suppliers of choice to a range of leading local, national, and international supermarket, foodservice and manufacturing businesses exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.
As Trimmer, your responsibilities will include:
* Working as part of a team in the factory, packing meat cuts and trims to customer specification on a paced production line to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis.
* Assisting on the production area & provide support to the production team.
* Potentially working in other areas of the factory.
* Keeping good housekeeping standards in all areas.
* Keeping up to date knowledge of all products.
* Keeping up to date with all training to ensure you are trained to complete your day-to-day role.
* Following work instructions in all areas.
* Ensuring you comply with Health & Safety regulations.
* Ensuring all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date.
* Ensuring quality guidelines are followed for all areas.
* Undertaking flexible working hours to meet deadline.
We are looking for a Trimmer who has the following skills and experience:
* Hardworking, conscientious, and reliable with good attendance and punctuality.
* The ability to take advice and demonstrate that they grasp skills and learnings quickly.
* An eye for detail.
* The ability to work to a tight time scale / under pressure.
* The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
You will be working Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:30.
