An exciting opportunity has become available for a Meat Cutter to join a long-established family butchery business supplying high-quality meat products to both catering and retail customers.
Based within a busy secondary processing and cutting plant in Stevenage, this role is ideal for someone with strong knife skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

Your responsibilities as a Meat Cutter
Strip joints and prepare primal cuts
Cut steaks to specification
Prepare chicken and other meat products
Work accurately to production targets and customer specifications
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
What we’re looking for in a Meat Cutter
Previous experience within a meat cutting, butchery or processing environment
Good knife skills and manual dexterity
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early starts
Strong attention to quality, hygiene, and consistency
Physically fit and comfortable in a demanding production environment
Willingness to learn and develop site-specific skills and processes
