Job Title: M&E Supervisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Supervisor to join our team for a solar farm project in Devon. This role involves a 50/50 bias towards both mechanical and electrical supervision. The successful candidate will predominantly manage paper-driven tasks but will also be required to be on-site as needed to oversee operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
M&E Supervisor Key Responsibilities
* Project Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the solar farm substation construction, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met.
* Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on site. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
* Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
* Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring all work is carried out to high standards.
* Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, safety checks, and project progress. Ensure all paperwork is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
* Site Presence: Occasionally be on the ground to oversee critical phases of the project, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
M&E Supervisor Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience in supervising M&E aspects of large-scale solar farm projects, particularly substations.
* Qualifications:
* Valid 3-Day First Aid at Work certificate.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* Skills:
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent project management and leadership skills.
* Effective communication and client management skills.
* Proficiency in maintaining project documentation and compliance records.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Requirements: Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to site locations as required.
