M&E Site Manager – Central London Hotel Project
Location: Central London
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Package
We are seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a landmark hotel development in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile, large-scale hospitality project, working alongside an experienced M&E Project Manager to successfully deliver all mechanical and electrical installations through to completion.
The Role
As M&E Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of M&E activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, monitor progress and ensure all M&E packages are installed in line with project specifications and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical works on site.
* Work closely with the M&E Project Manager to deliver project objectives.
* Coordinate and supervise M&E subcontractors and specialist contractors.
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements.
* Monitor quality, compliance and health & safety standards.
* Attend and contribute to progress meetings with project stakeholders.
* Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
* Identify and resolve site issues to minimise programme delays.
* Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on major construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building services.
* Experience delivering hotel, commercial, mixed-use or large-scale residential developments.
* Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills.
* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Relevant construction qualifications and SMSTS certification.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
