Job Title: Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
Location: Central London

They are committed to excellence and are looking for a dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

Position Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of their construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure that costs are managed efficiently and projects are completed on budget. Your role will be critical in maintaining our high standards and ensuring client satisfaction in the super prime residential market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cost Management: Liaise with the estimating team at the start of a project to understand how projects were costed and what was included/excluded.

* Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including the selection and negotiation of subcontractor and supplier contracts.

* Valuation: Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.

* Contract Management: Administer contractual terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and managing any variations or changes to the scope of work.

* Financial Reporting: Provide detailed financial reports to project stakeholders, including cost analysis, cash flow forecasts, and budget comparisons.

* Risk Management: Identify and manage project financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

* Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to ensure their satisfaction.

* Quality Assurance: Ensure all of your own work complies with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

* Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. A professional qualification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is preferred.

* Experience: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably within the electrical and technology installation sector.

* Skills:

* Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

* Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

* Proficient in the use of relevant software such as MS Office and industry-specific estimating tools.

* Previously experience working with Super Prime Residential projects would be advantageous.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
