Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E/MEP) contractor based in the Merseyside.
The company delivers high-quality M&E solutions across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and industrial projects, working alongside some of the UK's leading main contractors, developers and consultants.
The Role
* Managing costs across M&E projects from pre-contract through to final account
* Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations and final accounts
* Procurement and subcontractor management
* Cost reporting and monitoring project budgets
* Liaising with clients, main contractors and the internal project team
* Supporting commercial risk management across a varied project portfolio
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E/MEP or a related building services background
* Strong commercial and cost management skills
* Experience working across mechanical and/or electrical packages
* Relevant qualification (degree or equivalent experience)
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence
