Archer is working with an independent London construction consultancy to recruit an M&E Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS in its central London office.
The business has been established for over 15 years and has an experienced team of 40 employees working across Quantity Surveying and Project Management. They work across a range of project sectors including Commercial Offices, Residential, Mixed-Use, Arts & Culture and Data Centres.
The M&E QS will be working alongside an experienced Director on projects across these sectors, working in tandem with the wider cost management team on some, and as independent M&E consultants on others.
The role will provide both pre- and post-contract QS duties on a portfolio of projects. Duties will include producing cost estimates and plans, managing the tender process, monitor the status of projects and attend site meetings, and negotiating final account settlements.
Candidates for this position should be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, with a minimum of three years’ experience as an M&E QS. They could come from a consultancy background, or from a contractor with experience in estimating and other pre-contract work.
