Title: M&E Manager
Day Rate: (Apply online only) per day
Location: Ealing, London
Contract Length: 6 months minimum
An opportunity to join one of the hottest Main Contractors in the UK working on a massive project in Ealing! We have been asked to supply a No.1 M&E Manager to help value engineer the design and to drive the Sub Contractors to deliver this 4 - 6 storey multi building project.
M&E Manager roles & responsibilities:
- Attending all prestart meetings reviewing the specification and drawings, ensuring that any design issues, programming issues and co-ordination issues are identified and resolved before going to site
- Carrying out regular review meetings with the MEP Engineers and Project Managers monitoring progress against program, identifying risks, and assisting where required
- Providing input for progress reports that are to be presented to the professional team
- Attending progress meetings when required
- Managing sub-contractors to ensure quality and programme targets are met
- Co-ordinating testing, commissioning, witnessing & demonstrations to Consultants, Building Control and End Users as required
- Value engineer project
M&E Manager experience required:
- Minimum 5 years No.1 MEP Manager experience
- Major project experience, delivering M&E works on projects within industrial, logistics or data centre realm.
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
- Excellent IT / reporting skills
