Maths Teaching Assistant – Secondary Schools
Location: Melton Mowbray and Leicester area available

Are you confident supporting Maths and helping young people build confidence in the classroom?
New Directions are currently recruiting Maths Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school experience, tutoring experience, graduate experience, or a strong Maths background looking to gain further classroom experience.
The role may involve:
• Supporting pupils in Maths lessons on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Helping students stay engaged and focused during lessons
• Working alongside teaching staff to support learning outcomes
• Providing additional support for pupils who may need encouragement or intervention
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
We’re looking for individuals who are:
• Confident in Maths and able to support secondary-level learning
• Calm, approachable and reliable
• Passionate about education and supporting young people
• Previous school, tutoring, mentoring or youth work experience is desirable
