Salary: Competitive DOE - £160.77 - £262.46 (Fringe)

Contract Type: Permanent or 1 Year FTC

The role of Maths Teacher will be full time from September 2024. The school is happy to offer either a permanent contract or a 1 year fixed term contract. The school are looking for someone who is passionate about Mathematics and can inspire students of all abilities to develop their love for the subject. The role will be to cover KS3 and KS4 classes. 

The Role of Maths Teacher:

Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging Maths lessons that align with the curriculum
Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and experimentation
Assessing and providing constructive feedback on student work to facilitate their progress and achievement
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and resources
Monitoring student progress and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers
Support the schools ethos and values, promoting a positive image of the department The Ideal Applicant:

Hold a teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and QTS
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be strong in behaviour management, facilitating the best learning environments in the classroom
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Hold an enhanced working with children DBS or the ability to apply for one through us
