About our school
Mynydd Haf School provides high quality learning experiences within a small, focused nurturing environment to secondary school aged children who have an IDP/ALN Statement and have ADHD and/or express behaviours that are challenging or inappropriate in a community setting. Class sizes are small. The staff to student ratio is usually 2:4 in all classes.

Overview of the role of Maths Teacher:
Delivering and planning Maths lessons
Providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes
Helping and supporting individual pupils as required and encouraging them to research topics themselves
Keeping a register of pupils' attendance, set assignments and homework, mark pupils work, record completion, write progress reports and carry out continuous assessment We would love to hear from people who:

Based in Caerphilly, the school opened at Easter 2016 as a result of an initiative to provide locally based, easily accessible, high quality learning experiences within a small, focused, nurturing environment to secondary school aged children expressing behaviours that are challenging or inappropriate in a community setting.
The school is staffed with a highly skilled and qualified team of professionals and resourced to offer a wide range of educational, sporting and therapeutic resources for pupils between KS3 to KS5 who have complex needs.
