Position: Secondary Maths Teacher

Start Date: September

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term contract, Paid to Scale (£150 - £230 per day)

Location: Andover, United Kingdom

Overview:

Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a Secondary School in Andover on a long-term contract until July 2025, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. The successful candidate will be teaching Maths to students in KS3 and KS4, within a supportive department. The school is open to considering non-specialist Maths teachers with secondary school teaching experience.

The school is a mixed Secondary School in Andover catering to students aged 11 to 16, with a total enrolment of approximately 1000 students. It boasts a strong reputation and a supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) that deeply values the school’s ethos. The school also offers free onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
