The Maths department of this school is seeking a talented Maths Teacher to join its team in the South East London Borough of Lewisham. In terms of educational achievement, this is an excellent school, where over 60% of students obtain five or more GCSEs with grades as wide as A*-C, including Maths and English. Your main responsibility as a Maths teacher will be to teach Maths throughout the schools that you are assigned to. As a result, it is essential that you have a thorough understanding of the Secondary Curriculum. To be a successful Maths teacher, it is vital to have a thorough understanding of the curriculum so that fun and engaging lessons can be planned to instil a love of the subject in your students.

This position requires a Maths Teacher who is able to teach Key Stages 3 - 4 and ideally Key Stage 5. Applicants for the position of Maths Teacher/Teacher of Mathematics must be passionate about the curriculum, eager to find new and improved methods of teaching topics, and capable of sparking students' interests in the subject. In order to succeed in this position, you will need to be a strong team player who is willing to share ideas and resources with other teachers.
