Job Title:    Maths Teacher

Location:    Groveside School, Reading, Berkshire

Salary:       Up to £45,000 per annum 

Hours:        37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Contract:   Permanent, Term Time Only

**Welcome Bonus (£500 paid once you start employment, £500 after successful completion of final probation).

We are excited to introduce a Brand-New School, Groveside School in Reading, Berkshire, due to open in September 2024.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Mathematics Teacher who can inspire and engage students in the wonders of mathematics. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for the subject, a talent for teaching, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

 Groveside School will have capacity for 60 pupils between 7 to 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

Purpose of the Job

To further enhance and develop the curriculum to meet the needs of all students giving them the most relevant skills and knowledge to succeed. To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.

To teach and provide effective delivery of the Maths curriculum in consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team

To monitor, record and report on student progress

To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan

Groveside School is a Brand-New Special Educational Needs School for Pupils 7 - 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. Our school is proposed to open in September 2024 and will cater for 60 pupils.
