Are you confident teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Manchester, rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher. The school provides a supportive learning environment focused on helping pupils achieve their potential.
The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a long-term basis, teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and support pupils of varying abilities.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
Excellent classroom management
Strong communication skills
A positive and adaptable approach
