Pay: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Suffolk, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Maths Teacher. The school is committed to delivering high-quality mathematics education, encouraging students to think critically, solve complex problems and achieve excellent outcomes across Key Stages.

Job Overview:

This school caters for students aged 11-16.
Full-time, Monday - Friday, Maths Teacher
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students through creative and challenging lessons that develop problem-solving, reasoning and mathematical fluency.
Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and positive outcomes.
Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Work collaboratively with the Mathematics department and wider school team.
Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities.

This Maths Teacher role in Suffolk offers the opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious school that values both academic excellence and staff development. You will play a key role in helping students develop confidence in Mathematics while equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for future education and employment.

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school.
A passion for Mathematics and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
