About the Role:
Supply Desk is working with a Secondary School in Eastbourne seeking a full-time Maths teacher starting from September 2024 on a long-term contract, with the school looking to make the role permanent for the right person. The school is looking for an excellent Maths teacher who will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4. They seek a Maths teacher with good classroom management skills who gets along well with students and staff. You will be a reliable and professional teacher fully committed to the contract. The school is happy to consider experienced Maths teachers, as well as NQTs and ECTs looking for a role in a supportive department.

The Candidate:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons in Key Stage 3 and 4 and build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
Monitor pupil progress for all lessons, keeping records that include assessment outcomes and targets for Maths set at regular intervals in line with school policy, to enable all pupils to reach their full potential.
Experience teaching the Maths curriculum.
Desire to join and become part of a successful Maths department.
