Maths Teacher - Pupil Referral Unit - Lewisham
£160-£220 per day
Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Maths Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a dedicated Pupil Referral Unit in Lewisham. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students aged 11-16 who require additional support to engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons that inspire students to develop confidence in maths and reach their full potential. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning and succeed both academically and personally.
What you'll be doing as a Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students aged 11-16.
Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs, including SEMH and SEND requirements.
Build positive relationships that promote engagement, attendance and achievement.
Work collaboratively with support staff, families and external agencies to support student outcomes. What we need from you:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience within SEMH or PRU settings
Strong behaviour management skills
