We are currently supporting a number of secondary schools across Oldham who are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers for a range of opportunities, including full-time, part-time and permanent positions. These roles are available for an immediate start as well as September, offering excellent flexibility for experienced teachers and ECTs alike who are seeking their next move within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will be joining departments that place a strong emphasis on high standards, behaviour for learning and pupil progress. Schools we work with are looking for teachers who can quickly build rapport, maintain a positive classroom environment and demonstrate a consistent track record of strong outcomes or the potential to do so.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting. You will have a sound understanding of the national curriculum, effective assessment practices and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and disadvantaged pupils. Strong behaviour management skills, adaptability and a professional approach are essential for both long-term and day-to-day supply roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
