A secondary school in Blackpool is recruiting a Maths Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support students across a range of abilities. This opportunity would suit an experienced Maths Teacher or an Early Career Teacher ready to develop their classroom practice.

The Role - Maths Teacher

As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that strengthen students' fluency, mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering Maths lessons across the secondary curriculum

Adapting teaching to support different abilities, including students with SEND

Using clear modelling and worked examples to develop understanding

Identifying misconceptions and addressing gaps in knowledge

Assessing understanding and preparing students for examinations

Maintaining clear expectations and a positive classroom environment

Working with departmental colleagues to share resources and effective practice

The successful Maths Teacher will combine strong subject knowledge with the ability to make mathematics accessible and encourage students to persevere.
