Role Overview: The reputable school is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Maths Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire students to excel in mathematics. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing a love for numbers, problem-solving, and logical reasoning among our student body.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners at key stages 3 and 4.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and succeed.
Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Specialisation or relevant experience in mathematics education.
Strong subject knowledge across key mathematical concepts and topics.
Previous experience teaching secondary school students, preferably in a mainstream setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
