Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Maths teacher to begin their role in the new academic year.

The role is initially from September to December but with the likelihood of extention for the rest of the academic year.

This Ofstead “Good” rated school are looking for a Maths teacher to join their vibrant department for their Key stage 3 (KS3)  and key stage 4 (KS4) students.

Short term planning is in place but marking and long term planning will be required.

There is also the potential to teach two Year 12 (KS5) classes for candidates who hold previous KS5 experience.

Responsibilities for the Maths Teacher role

Deliver Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
Some planning, marking and assessment required.
Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
Work with Head of Maths Department to plan lessons.
Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.
Required skills and experience for the Maths Teacher role

Experience in teaching Maths in KS3 and KS4 (Key stage 3 and 4).
Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS / ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
Previous Maths Teacher experience.
