Supply Desk are currently recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in Chichester who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher to start September 2024. This will be a temporary position (with the potential to go permanent), where you will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school that was graded “Good” in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection.

Overview:

Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a Secondary School in the Chichester area. This position begins in September on a long-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role. The successful candidate will teach Maths to students in KS3 and KS4, working within a supportive department. The school is open to considering non-specialist Maths teachers with experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.

About the School: 

The School is a mixed Secondary School based in Chichester for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1000 students in total. The School comes with a Good reputation and has a supportive SLT that cares deeply for the Schools values. The school also has free parking onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.

-          Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

-          Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

-          Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.

-          Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning community.

Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desired.

-          Degree in Mathematics or related field.

-          Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.

-          Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
