The Supply Register is working in partnership with Sunderland College to recruit Maths Lecturers to support across their curriculum.

The Role
Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Functional Skills and GCSE Maths (and potentially Level 3)
Support learners in developing numeracy, problem-solving, and exam techniques
Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching sessions
Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback
Support students with coursework, revision, and exam preparation
Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Experience teaching or tutoring Maths (FE, secondary, or adult education)
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to engage and motivate post-16 learners
Flexible, professional, and reliable approach
Desirable:
Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET)
Experience working within Further Education
Experience delivering GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Coming from industry or tutoring?
