You'll be joining a successful and well-respected education provider in Surrey as a Maths specialist, becoming part of a dedicated and supportive teaching team.

A salary of up to £39,700 is available depending on qualifications and experience, alongside an attractive benefits package and generous holiday entitlement.

This role is full-time, 37 hours per week, and based at a campus location within Surrey with good transport links from surrounding areas. Easily accessible from Woking, Ashford, Weybridge, Guildford, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Epsom, Staines-upon-Thames and the wider Surrey area.

What you'll be doing...

●    Deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across GCSE (9-1) and Functional Skills programmes to a varied group of learners at different stages of their education.

●    Track, assess and record learner progress, providing the data and returns needed to support course management and learner achievement.

●    Collaborate with your department team to develop, review and evaluate the maths curriculum, keeping course content relevant and impactful.

●    Embed employability skills,  including literacy, numeracy and IT, meaningfully into your lessons, giving learners practical tools for the workplace.

●    Represent the department at Open Evenings and Parents' Evenings to support learner recruitment and strengthen relationships with prospective students.

What you need to bring...

●    A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.

●    A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) or a genuine willingness to work towards one, with funding and support provided by the college.

●    Practical knowledge of GCSE 9-1 Maths planning and delivery; experience with Functional Skills is a real advantage.

●    Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office to produce learning materials and maintain student records accurately.

●    The ability to communicate clearly, motivate learners, and take ownership of your workload.

Why you'll love this job!

●    A generous package including pension scheme (TPS or LGPS), free on-site parking, employee recognition schemes, and a range of financial benefits and discounts.

●    Genuine investment in your professional growth  including funded support to gain your teaching qualification if you're working towards one.

●    A warm, collaborative team culture where your contribution matters and where you'll see the direct impact of your work on students' lives and futures.

If you love Maths and want to make a real difference to the next generation of learners, we'd love to hear from you ASAP
